The Johnson County Center for the Arts is a really nice gallery that showcases over 30 artisans from the Appalachian Mountains. This is your destination for locally made art and crafts where you can find that certain piece of art that you have been looking for. You can sign up for a scheduled class or use the materials in the Maker Space for your special project. The popular Johnson County’s Heritage Music Trail, Long Journey Home, is based in this creative art center. They also have an outside covered porch stage to showcase the many talented local musicians in our area. Be sure to plan a visit to this exceptional art center.
